Bonnie Darlene Bryant

April 14, 1966 — January 22, 2022

Bonnie D. Bryant, 55, of Amherst peacefully passed away to be with the Lord on January 22, 2022.

 

Born on April 14, 1966 in Albemarle County she was a daughter of the late Harold M. Bryant and Margaret Hazel Rudin Bryant.

 

Bonnie's career was filled with many people and adventures from her role as a C.N.A to her jobs at McDonald's and K.F.C where she was loved by many.  Her favorite past times were listening to music, coloring, dancing, and gathering with friends and family. She will be greatly missed by many people. We will be lost without her, but know she is up there looking down on us.

 

She left behind three children; Roger "Bubba" Mays (Billie Jo Fallwell), Rachel Oliver (Dion Winfield), James "Ricky" Mays (Annie Dunn); a grandson  she raised as her own, James Mays, Jr.; her boyfriend of 15 years, Brian Habel; three sisters; Ruth Johnson (Marvin), Donna McCauley (George), Holly McLaughlin (Don); a brother, Danny Bryant (Debbie); three grandchildren; Miracle Winfield, Drake Winfield, Sara Mays, and her dog that kept her company, Juelz Bryant. She is also survived by many friends and family that will miss her dearly.

 

She will be greatly missed by many people.  We will be lost  without her, but know she is up there looking down on us.

 

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Mt. View Cemetery in Lovingston with Pastor John P. Campbell officiating.
