Brenda Dawn Falls

September 20, 1946- August 12, 2026

Our beloved mom, grandma (gma), and friend passed at the age of 79 and the Lord has welcomed her into heaven to be reunited with her late husband, George Falls.

She was a daughter of the late Milton and Helen Gleason of Cow Hollow Road and was a sister of Robin Rourke, Maria Zirkle, and the late Joan Giles.

She is survived by her son, David (Ashley) and his children, Chrissy (Ross), Trevor (Brittany), Olivia (Jake), Kallie, and Tanner, and his grandchildren, Kaydence and Kierstyn; her son, Donny and his children, Eric, Tyler, Patrick, Derek (Brooke), and Bri.

She was loved dearly by her many nieces and nephews. She loved her Rose Union Baptist Church Family and hosting for Holidays, feeding any and all wildlife, and she loved her dog, Rocky dearly. She loved to help her community and was always so willing to help anyone in need.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jason Dowd, RN and Sara McConville, RN and the entire MICU Staff and oncology staff at Lynchburg General Hospital for their care and compassion.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026 at Rose Union Baptist Church in Piney River with Pastor Brandon Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in the Gleason Family Cemetery in Roseland.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
