Carolyn Tamatha Meade

Carolyn Tamatha Meade of Roseland, VA passed away on Saturday May 3rd, 2025.

She was born June 13th 1966 to Carolyn Pendleton her mother and Father Leroy Martin.

She is survived by her ex-husband of 25 years, Donald Meade; 2 daughters, Lydia Megginson (Jarred) and Kyra Vest (Raymond) and step- son, Kevin Smith (Kathleen); 4 siblings, Keith Pendleton, Michael Martin, Daniel Martin, and Michelle Martin; grandchildren, Mia Irving, Omarion Irving (Marianna) and Ryli Vest; 5 step grandchildren and a slew of nieces and nephews.

Tamatha lived life the Tamatha way and to the fullest. She achieved a master’s degree in education and a culinary arts degree in cooking as a licensed chef from Johnsons and Wales. She was a unique loving mother, daughter and friend to anyone she met.

She is preceded in death by Virginia Dare Massie (grandmother), William "Wild Bill" Pendleton (step father), Janice Martin (grandmother) and Parrish Martin (grandfather).

Her memory will live on within her family and close friends.

A small memorial will be PRIVATELY HELD for the family and close friends at a select location.

The family would like to thank those who have reached out and expressed their condolences. As a part of Tamatha's last wishes she requested in lieu of a service or flowers she would like to have donations made to St. Judes, Shriners Hospital and The Red Cross.
