Danny Wilson Campbell of Concord Va. Passed away in the early morning of September 7, 2026 surrounded by his children.
Danny was born on June 14, 1954 in Lynchburg Va to Zane (Reedy) Campbell and Wilson Campbell.
He grew up in Piney River Va. attending Nelson County Schools. At an early age he became interested in fixing things and seeing how they worked. His love of cars and motorcycles began early on and continued on throughout his life. After finishing school, he began his journey into the mechanical field, eventually becoming a certified maintenance engineer with numerous degrees. There wasn’t anything he couldn't fix. As he approached retirement, he found new hobbies in Karate and playing his guitar eventually earning his 4th degree black belt, before health issues intervened. The last two years he spent quality time with his children, watching Dark Shadows, Old Westerns and sitting on the porch enjoying nature. One of his most treasured accomplishments were his children. He was always smiling even on the bad days.
He is survived by his children, Tara Campbell-Rice and husband, Ryland of Gladstone and Rhett Campbell of Amherst; his grandchildren, Wilson Snyder and wife, Danielle of Madsion Heights, Olivia Snyder and companion, Shane of Amherst, Parker Snyder and wife, Kelesy of Gladstone; his great-grandchildren Bentley Rice, Joel Reese III, Braden Brown, Temperance Snyder, Azalea Reese, Davis Snyder, Dakota Snyder, Naomi Snyder, Autumn Snyder, Sage Wade, Jaylen Wade and River Snyder. His fur babies Gracie, Ninja and Ragnar; his niece's, Shelia Collins of Fl. who was like a sister and Debbie Campbell of FL; his nephews, Steve Campbell of Madsion Heights and Joey Campbell of TX; sisters-in-law, Judy Campbell of Madsion Heights and Joanne Campbell of FL.
