Deborah Baber Handy

Deborah Baber Handy, 60, of Fishersville, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 in Charlottesville.

She was born October 31, 1962, in Charlottesville, the daughter of the late Raymond William Baber and Anna Hunt Baber.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Russell Handy.

Deborah was a Medical Secretary for The University of Virginia Medical Center.

She is survived by two nieces, Stephanie Handy and Kimberly Handy; two nephews, Steven Handy and David Handy; special friend and co-worker, Louise Tressler.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Monticello Memory Gardens in Charlottesville with Pastor John P. Campbell officiating.
