Dianne B. Davis

Dianne B. Davis, 76 passed away at her home in Ruckersville, VA on October 24, 2026.

Born on September 23,1950, to the late Cecil and Margaret Brogan, Dianne was loving, caring, and deeply devoted to her family, always making sure those she loved were taken care of.

In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Lawhorne (Rhonda), and her brothers Cecil “CW” Brogan Jr. and Gary Brogan.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ronald “Ron” Davis; her beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth “Lizzy” Lawhorne; her devoted sister, Joyce Vance (Sidney); her caring sister-in-law, Anna Brogan; her loving nieces and nephews, Missy Brads (Chris), Stacy Tinson (Stacey), Paul Brogan (Heather), and Miranda Brogan; a beautiful grandniece, Kailey Bailess (Kayden); her special nephew, Mike Vance; along with many family and friends.

Dianne retired from G.E in 2011 after a long tenure with the company. She spent her retirement days traveling, spending time with her family, watching her favorite TV shows, and making cherished memories along the way.

Dianne will be remembered for her wonderful smile, her strong-willed nature, and her unwavering love that kept her family at the center of her life.

The family extends their deepest thanks to special neighbors and friends, Randy Freund and Vertie Wade for always making sure Dianne was cared for.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Wells-Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston, Virginia.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Dianne.
