Dr. Charlotte Marie Evans

Dr. Charlotte Marie Evans of Manassas, VA passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell Lee Evans, Jr. and Doris Proffitt Evans.

Dr. Evans held a B.A. degree from Lynchburg University, a M.Ed. from University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. from American University. She was an organizational psychologist, and she founded Evans Consulting Group, Inc. In addition, she worked during her career for Electronic Data Systems (EDS), The Analytic Sciences Corporation (TASC), and MITRE. She began her career as a high school Spanish and English teacher in Orange County, VA.

Dr. Evans is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Leigh Conner-Harris (David) of Fredericksburg, and Elizabeth Page Meador (Dan) of Manassas, as well as two grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Carolynn Evans Thomason of Cary, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church, located at 725 Davis Creek Lane in Lovingston, with Reverend Bryan Painter officiating.

Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with fellowship and refreshments following at Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Family night will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests making contributions to the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 62, Lovingston, VA, 22949.
