Earl Meade Mawyer

Earl “Buddy” Mawyer passed away at his home in Amherst Co. on November 20, 2024.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kimberly Monk Mawyer. Buddy met his wife on a business trip to Maryland as he traveled for his job. He joined his life with her and her 8 year old son, Chase. He was a wonderful husband and father! Buddy and Kim shared their love for animals and were parents to many dogs over the years.

Buddy was a long time employee of Bastian Solutions. He had a strong work ethic. His work was like a second family to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Hamilton Mawyer, Jr. and Janie Stevens Mawyer and also his mother-in-law, Virginia Monk.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly Monk Mawyer; his son, Chase E. Robinson (Krysta); his siblings, Edith M. Burns (Kent), Kenneth H. Mawyer, Anne M. Ferguson (Danny), Gregory S. Mawyer (Joyce) and his brother-in-law, John A. Monk (Jeanne).

My husband was a beautiful person, smart, kind, and loyal! We loved him very much. Kim and Remy
