Emma Jean Hall Falls

Emma Jean Hall Falls, 81 of Arrington, VA , previously of Hampton, VA, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 in Lynchburg, VA.

She was born July 17, 1940 in Buena Vista, VA to the late William Madison Hall and Emma Ruth Camper Hall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Olen "Bill" Hall, William "Jr." Hall, and Marshall Hall, and her four sisters, Mary Greene, Hilda Lawyer, Patsy Hamilton, and Opel Davis.

Emma retired from Christopher Newport University in 2005 with 25 years of service.  She enjoyed camping with the Peninsula Good Sam Camping Club,  clogging with the Flatland Cloggers and served at Nelson United Methodist Church.

Emma is survived by her husband, Charles Hunter Falls; son Brian Hunter Falls and wife Mindy Leigh of South Carolina; daughter Krista Sipes and husband Hank of Amherst, VA; three grandchildren, Madison Leigh Falls, William "Hunter" Falls, and Delaney Elizabeth Richelle Sipes; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

A memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Nelson United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Edwin Clever officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Nelson United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Nelson United Methodist Church, 5239 Thomas Nelson Hwy., Arrington, VA 22922
