Francis "Frank" Marion Browning

Francis “Frank” Marion Browning, 78, of Nellysford, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at his residence.

He was born May 26, 1947 in Shipman, Virginia (Nelson County) a son of the late Alexander and Frances Stevens Browning.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary and Lukie Browning and his sisters, Sandra Dale Fulcher and Brenda Wood.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Browning; his sons, Tyler Browning and Jaime Canales; his daughter, Nicole Canales; grandchildren, Max Bensing and Dominique Hernandez and wife, Molly; and his extended family, David and Alicia Christenson, John and Esther Melendez, Veronica Saavedra and George Parra.

Frank loved his brothers and sisters in Christ dearly. Frank was a gentle and loving servant of the LORD. His kind spirit touched so many hearts and lives. His music will forever live in our hearts. We thank God that Frank is in heaven and has joined the Heavenly chorus and will forever praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church in Lovingston with Pastor Jeffrey Campbell, Pastor John Campbell and Pastor Nathan Williams officiating.
