Hope Gwen Grant

Hope Gwen Grant, 54, departed this life on August 12, 2025 surrounded with love of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Cooper; sisters, Deborah, Robin, Wanda and daughter, Samantha Tyree.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, James Grant, Jr.; her children, Cody Grant (Skylar), Alix Grant, and Jordan Grant (Kenzie) as well as grandchildren, Lillyana Rose, Kaiden Osborne, Cypress and Tobias Grant.

Hope was known for her feisty spirit and loving heart. She loved her family and friends fiercely. Small, but mighty she became an intrical part of many lives and was affectionately known as Mom, “Aint” Hope, Nanny Hope, Grummy, and GG.

Her love of life and fun shines brightly in those she leaves behind.

A private burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 immediately followed by a Celebration of Life service at 849 Williamstown Road, Shipman, Virginia 22971.
