James Carter Bridgewater, Jr.

James Carter Bridgewater, Jr., 72, of Waynesboro passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

He was born on January 30, 1951 in Lynchburg Virginia, a son of the late James Carter Bridgewater, Sr. and Norma Jean Crocker Bridgewater.

He is survived by his sister, Lisa J. Bridgewater and his brother, Anthony G. Bridgewater both of Lovingston.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church Cemetery 14654 Thomas Nelson Highway Lovingston, VA 22949 with William L. Bridgwater, II officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service.

The family would like to thank the Valley Services Board specifically the Greenstone and Grandview Homes.
