Karen Kay Abshire was born November 27, 1969. She passed away on June 23rd, 2022 at the age of 52, finally winning her battle against multiple sclerosis.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother Vickie Adams.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Jessie Napier, her husband Billy Ashley, son Jacob Ashley, brother Shaun Abshire, her sister Lucy Abshire & her father Fred Abshire.
Karen graduated from Piedmont Virginia Community College with an associates degree in Applied Science, majoring in Police Science & with a certificate in the Administration of Justice.
She enjoyed spending time with her cats, gardening, watching sci-fi shows, listening to country music, and was a big fan of the Washington Redskins.
