Karen Denise Campbell, age 68, of Piney River, Virginia, passed away peacefully at UVA Hospital on Feb 4, 2026 surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of Glenn Wayne Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Thomas Brogan.
Born on May 14, 1957, in Waynesboro VA, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth M. Fisher Robertson and Boyd A. Robertson of Stuart's Draft, Virginia.
Leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and deep family values. Karen found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She especially cherished days at the beach, camping trips, family cookouts, and quiet moments surrounded by those she loved most.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Rose Davis (James Davis), and John Brogan; her four grandchildren, Katelyn Walton (Andrew), James Davis (Katie Dearing), Arizona Brogan, and Tucker Brogan and 5 great-grandchildren, Dawson Walton, Waylon Walton, Mason Walton, Annalise Davis, and Colson Davis.
Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were truly her whole world. She took immense pride in each of them. Her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and togetherness.
Upon her passing, Karen was reunited in heaven with her first husband, Johnny Thomas Brogan, who met her at the gates with open arms when she arrived.
Karen will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her gentle spirit, and the countless memories she created with those she held dear. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Piney River Baptist Church with Pastor James Bryant officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
