Kermit Micklem (Mickey) Quick, Jr.

Kermit Micklem (Mickey) Quick, Jr. passed away on February 9, 2026 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville after a brief illness.

Mickey was born on November 4, 1944, a son of the late Kermit M. Quick, Sr. and Virginia Adelaide Wright Quick.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lee Campbell Quick on June 6, 2023.

Mickey was an active member of Nelson United Methodist Church and a retired Sales Rep with Suburban Propane and Fuel Company.

He is survived by his son, Ronald C. Quick (Angie) and his beloved cat companion, Nickie as well as several cousins.

At his request no services will be held.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston.

Interment will be private at Mountain View Cemetery in Lovingston.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Nelson United Methodist Church at 5239 Thomas Nelson Highway, Arrington, Virginia 22922.
