Kyle Clinton Mann

Kyle Clinton Mann, 97, passed away on January 15, 2024 at Summit Square in Waynesboro, Virginia.

He was born July 13, 1926 in Shipman, Virginia; a son of the late Harry F. and Susie Ponton Mann.

In addition to his parents, Kyle was preceded in death by three sisters; Audrey Dodd, Hilda Martin, and Mildred Hubbard.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Mann, Jr. and infant brother, Wesley Mann.

Kyle is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Cora Jacqueline Wood Mann of Waynesboro and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He served in the United States Army during World War II and was stationed in Japan after the war ended for a period of time.

He retired from the DuPont Company in Waynesboro in 1984 with more than 30 years of service.  He was a member of Main Street Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston with Chaplain David Wolfe officiating.

Interment will follow in Amherst Cemetery in Amherst, Virginia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
