Lucille Virginia Powell Johnson

Lucille Virginia Powell Johnson, 94, of Faber passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at her residence.

Born October 21, 1930 in Davis Creek (Nelson County), she was a daughter of the late Frank Powell and Lillie Perry Powell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Thomas Johnson, Jr.

She retired as a production worker with the IX and Sons Silk Mill in Charlottesville.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Johnson (Debra) of Fredericksburg, Cheryl Johnson of Faber, and Troy Johnson (Ilona) of Fishersville; three grandchildren, Jake Johnson, Sabrina Johnson, and Luke Johnson and one great grandson, Forrest.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lovingston with Pastor John P. Campbell officiating.
