Mark Joseph Stevens

Mark Joseph Stevens, 67 of Roseland passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by loved ones on July 13th, 2025.

He was born August 6, 1957 in Nelson County, the son of the late Harry J. Stevens and Lorna Davis Stevens McDaniel.

In addition to his parents, his brothers, Patrick, Ted, Jim, and Chuck Stevens preceded him in death.

Mark worked for Haley, Chisholm, and Morris for 30 years as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lisa Stevens; his daughter, Savana Hughes (Anthony) and two wonderful grandchildren, Carter and Gatlin Hughes; one sister, Nina Durham (Steve), three brothers, Keith, David, and Barry Stevens and a special sister in law, Kathy Stevens along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to his niece, Brittany Stevens and nephew, Jacob Stevens. 

A graveside service will be held at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Lovingston, Va on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Robert Mansfield officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm prior to the service at the graveside.
