Peggy Marie Robertson

Peggy Marie (McCormick) Robertson, age 85 of Norwood Road, Wingina passed peacefully on May 5, 2026 in the comfort of her daughter’s home with family by her side in Mechanicsville.

Born in Appomattox on August 28, 1940 to Effie W. Jamerson and William W. McCormick she was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Leslie Robertson, Jr., son David Wayne Robertson and grandson John Ryan Nantz. She is survived by her daughters Janet Robertson Salmon (Carl Hill) of Mechanicsville and Pamela Diane Nantz of Rustburg and sons Kenneth Ray Robertson (Lisa) of Quinton, Leslie Jerome Robertson of Alberene and eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Heaven has accepted another beautiful angel. A loving mother, grandmother and a kind, giving friend to all. Her love, strength and devotion to her family filled our lives with joy. We are grateful for every memory and moment shared. Mom, you will never be forgotten and will forever remain within our hearts.

A funeral Service Will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston with Pastor Tyler Lucas Officiating. Interment will follow in the Robertson Family Cemetery in Wingina.

The family will receive friends one hour before services.
