Ronald Dale Collins, Sr.

Ronald Dale Collins, Sr. 77 Passed away on July 31, 2026 in his sleep after a long illness. He is at peace now with the Lord.

He was born on November 1, 1948 in Arlington, Virginia the son of the late Geneiveve Collins Hoover and stepdad, Herbert Hoover.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Williamson, and brother, Garland Collins.

He leaves behind his wife, Paula of 60 years and sons, Scott and Ronald, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, Crystal, Heather, Robin, Abigial, Eli and Sean Collins and 5 great grandchildren Aubree, Ivy, Gaberial, Ezra, and little Adian.

He is also survived by brothers, Elmer Floyd Collins (Romney) and Charles Alfred Collins. He also leaves behind his furry buddies, Early and Tiger.

In the 70's he loved riding his Harley. He liked fishing and hunting. He worked hard for his family; he was a very hard worker all his life.

Ronald and Paula were High School sweethearts. They loved each other very much.

We will miss him so much.

He is with the Lord right now.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Living Word Church on Lowesville Road, Lowesville, VA.

A Celebration of Life will be at 123 Matohe Road, Madison Hights VA at 6:00.
