Sarah Purvis Davis
Sarah Purvis Davis, 78, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away on August 29, 2025.
She was born January 27, 1947 in Shipman, Virginia a daughter of the late Cecil Elmo Davis, Sr. and Eleanor Grace Purvis Davis.
She attended Nelson County High School and was a member of the class of 1965. She was also a United States Army Veteran.
She is survived by her brothers, Cecil Davis, Jr. (Kathy) of Madison Alabama, Mike Davis (Debra Moyer) of Palmyra, Virginia and Joey Davis of Shipman, Virginia as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
