Shania Faith Hawley, 22, left this world on Saturday, July 13, 2024. She was the 4th of five living generations and leaves behind her great grandmother, Suzanne Powell, grandmother Sharon Smith, mother Shantina Hash, sister Shelly Rose Hawley, and her daughter Emberlyn Saige Huffman. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. She would want them all to know how important they were to her.
Her uncle Brandon Hash, Maternal Uncle, loved her and was always there to help. Brandon gave Shania two cousins, Lyla Hash and Jesse Hash.
Her aunt Valerie Berryman, Maternal Aunt, was like a big sister to Shania. Valerie gave Shania two more cousins, Samuel Ramsey and Wyatt Berryman.
Her Aunts Judy and Catherine have always been the special ladies who looked out for Shania. They gave Shania even more cousins.
Shania Faith along with her sister Shelly Rose, were raised in a summer haze in Nelson County by their mother Shantina Hash and Mark Privigyi. Shania was always excited about the next family event. Whether it was an overnight camping trip to the river, a trip to the beach, or simply someone’s birthday party, Shania always wanted to make it special somehow. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just hanging out at the river or in the woods.
Graduating from Nelson County High School in 2020 despite the pandemic, Shania was a hard worker and always took pride in her every adventure. Shania most recently worked in the healthcare industry in housekeeping. She helped out in any way she could, sometimes even if she didn’t know you.
Shania Faith being born a sweet summer child with sunkissed cheeks, Danced in the Moonlight with flowers in her hair and let love bloom, and from that love is born her daughter, Emberlyn Saige Huffman.
~May you forever feel your mother’s
beautiful spirit in the sunshine on your
cheeks, may you dance with the moonlight
in your hair and feel her warmth as she
watches over you.
Emberlyn’s father, Tyler Huffman, brought this beautiful child into our families, our hearts, and our homes. We all will forever be able to see that a part of Shania is still here and her legacy lives on.
