Stuart Ashby Miller

Stuart Ashby Miller, 65 of Faber died Monday, January 9, 2023 of natural causes. He is a son of the late Earl Beverley Miller and Sabra Zilpha Baker Miller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, Ambrose Paul Miller and Earl Aleksander Miller. 

Stuart loved his mountains, trees, and Nelson County.  He moved to Nelson County in 1983 and made it his home.  He was a roofer.  He was an avid lover of all things civil war and firearms.  He enjoyed growing a variety of plants in his gardens.  He will be remembered by all those lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Miller, his daughter Virginia Brown, and his sister, Alison Miller.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Faber.
